My up to date CV

I'm currently working as an E-commerce Manager for The Palm Centre, a plant nursery based in Ham, Richmond.

Since joining the Palm Centre back in 2013, I have succeeded in developing and vastly improving the online sales space. During this time, the online sales have increased every year, have an improved user-friendly customer experience and an overall better-performing website. I managed the entire website: content, marketing online and website administration. I have achieved this by ensuring that all the content is presented accurately, the product page, images, descriptions, categories, special offers, etc. and keeping the homepage relevant by creating new banners, promotions and design change if necessary. On the marketing online space, I manage SEM and implement SEO strategies. I create and distribute email marketing campaigns and manage the Social Media channels. I interpret all the metrics and data from Google Analytics and Google Webmaster tool to understand the performance of the website to make informed decisions, to manage a joined-up approach within the business to ultimately maximise output and sales. As the website administrator, I manage the third parties we are working with, like the stock control platform, the development agency to implement changes in the website and the IT support. Also, engaging with the mail order dispatch team and the customer service.

Previously I was in FEMINASONLINE.COM project (2008-2011) as a creator and manager of the project and a team of 4 collaborators. is a magazine online for women. Responsible for the content management, writing, updating and publish both the website and social media like Facebook and Twitter. While I was in I had the opportunity to join the program ERASMUS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS (January-April 2010) in Coventry, United Kingdom. This is a European Exchange project aimed to help new entrepreneurs acquire relevant skills by spending time working in another EU country with an experienced entrepreneur. My post was at the Serious Games Institute (part of Coventry University Enterprises) working as a website consultant; this included advising on online social media strategies, online marketing and supporting the host entrepreneur in any and all issues arising, including the implementation of the online strategies. I was also the primary developer involved in a project that created and developed a novel game for an iPhone application called IflirtU (no longer available).

And before my internet adventure, I worked as a sales person inside the hotel and tourism sector.
